Do you have a small cage you can put Mrs. Rosa in? Secure the cage, put her in and leave her outside. Set Mrs. Clem's fave treat in a bowl + water. Hopefully, these will attract her to come back if she is within the area still.

Also put up flyers/posters with your contact info around the neighborhood. You might want to contact an animal shelter too just incase someone reports a lost parakeet.

Sorry wasn't thinking of the time. Just leave an open cage outside tonight with food and water. It might be too cold to leave Rosa outside. Anyway Clem might stay put and not move from where she is because it is dark.

Try to take Rosa out tomorrow in the cage. You can also walk around and see if you spot Clem. Take a phone where you can play parakeet chirps on. I know it sounds silly but the parakeets I used to have would call out to those parakeet recordings. Might help you spot Clem if she responds. You can search these on YouTube.

Don't forget the flyers tomorrow as well.

That bird didn't go far. Comb your area, look very carefully in bushes and trees. If you have a net bring it, you might need it. If you move fast you might find him alive.

dont lose faith. comb your area, notify your neighbours, put up flyers etc and if you happen to have face book, chevk to see if you local area has a community page.
my baby oxy escaped on me twice (clipped). first time i found him the next day at the end of my street high up in a tree. The second time he was gone for a week and he found his way home to a tree in my neighbours yard. Bruno (fully flighted) was gone for 2 weeks before i got him back. he was found in a tree in some ones back yard about a kilometer from home, a friend of theirs seen my notice on my community page contacted me and i picked him up.

Just dont give up and keep faith.

please please dont give up hope, as i said bruno was missing for 2 weeks and i had heard nothing from him since the second day. i had gotten to the stage of accepting he may never return but was still hoping he would one day return.

Keep ur chin up and ears open.

Good luck finding her...and don't give up, you never know! Put up lots of flyers and make sure local vets know to keep an eye out, too!

I've had quite a few neighbors' birds end up in my yard. If I were you, I'd definitely put up posters in your neighborhood and let your neighbors know. A lovebird flew in my mom's hair one summer, and the owner ended up living like a mile or two away from us--if she's clipped I doubt she'd venture that far, but it's good to put up posters further away too. By the time we got in touch with the owner, the bird had been missing for weeks. I'd post on your local Craigslist too.

Don't give up hope or stop looking! Like others said, keep food and water out, maybe play a looped recording of parakeet chirps if weather doesn't permit the other bird to go outside.

I don't know if it would help, but if your neighbors have outdoor cats, maybe request that they stay indoors for a day or two. One thing that infuriates me to no end is that I have a fenced-in acre of beautiful natural wildlife and all sorts of birds, but all the stupid neighbors' "outdoor" cats terrorize my yard. Can't tell you how many dead birds we've had on our porch, thanks to one particular well intentioned cat. Outdoor cats = lazy owners Imo. But I digress.

I hope he returns to you, my guess is he couldn’t have gone too far. Prayers for you💕
