Looking for the perfect name for my baby bronze-wing

I'm adopting a baby Pionus chalcopterus (male) and I'm still looking for a good name for him.

The first thing I thought of was Pi, but that seems kind of silly. The other day another bird started singing "Twinkle twinkle little star" and I started singing it to Baby Bird, and the line "like a diamond in the sky" made me think Diamond would be a good name.

I don't care for Oliver, though my family does have some history of naming pets for colors. I also want something the parrot can easily pronounce: one or two syllables with a hard consonant in the middle?

haha, we have a tendency to name our critters after spices and herbs. We have Jasmine, Sage, Thyme, Nutmeg, Cashew and Cayenne at the moment. Not including the litter of puppies and their temporary names, Oolong, Chai, Honey and Ginseng.

If we were naming stuff after colors I would totally name a bronze wing "Copper". Probably a little soft sounding, but I love the color and the sound so I would be sold on it. haha

Oh my gosh he is BEYOND PRECIOUS!!!! There are few things that make me as happy as bringing home a new pet, you must be on cloud 9 right now! I have wanted a pionus for quite some time so I had some names planned out. Pionus tend to be quiet and wheeze when they get scared or over excited, which reminds me of nerds (I'm pretty nerdy too lol). I don't know if you watch the show " the big bang theory" but the two main characters, Sheldon and Leonard, are big nerds. What about Sheldon or Leonard? Also, what about Petri? Petri was a dinosaur from a show called "the land before " that I watched when I was little. He was a small brown Pterodactyl who wheezed when he got scared. Pionus always reminded me of him
