Kaytee Exact Premium Daily Nutrition....good or bad?

I am just wondering if anyone has used this type of pelleted parrot food for any their fids and if you did what did you think?

Is it a good/decent pelleted food? they offer a colored fruity scented version and a plain version.


We have two birds..a parrotlet and a green cheek conure. I have heard of Zu Preem and have heard its a decent food but have yet to find a place near by that carries i have called a few bird stores and they don't carry it and are wanting to charge to much to get it in for me.

the Kaytee Exact is readily available to me but am unsure if its a good food for the birds as i'm trying to get the parrotlet(who's my mom's bird) off seeds and onto a pellet and want my green cheek on a pellet diet(along with fresh veggies and fruits of course) since its healthier for her once she comes home.


so is it a good brand of food or should i give in and order Zu Preem or RoudyBush online? would prefer not to because of the shipping but i want whats best for our birds.

RoudyBush and Harrisons can be a bit harder to find, but I'm surprised none of the local stores have Zupreem. You don't have any petsmarts or petcos around?

I don't know the Kaytee food that well, but it is a formulated pelleted food - so it is definitely better than seed.

i live in a little rural town and the closest pet store is 30 minutes away and its just a mom and pop type store thats not very big. the place i'm getting kermit from is an hour away and doesn't have it.

the closest petco is a 100 miles north east of me or a 150 miles south of me. i'm having to order Kermits cage online in order to get it as no store here sells one big enough for her. little po-dunk towns are good for not having anything helpful near buy for pets besides a vet.
