Heated perches, full spectrum lighting and cage heat panels...

Do any of you use these things for the winter? Winters in Utah are COLD and I want to make sure my girls are warm and happy. I'm on the fence whether or not any of these are good investments.

My birds love the heated perch all year long. They use them after a bath even if the room is warm, I think for them it's like having a warm towel after a shower! Always feels good! They are easy to keep clean and designed to give their feet some exercise too. The heat is low (9V I think) and varies depending on where they stand. I haven't had any issues with my birds biting/braking them, but my biggest is a CAG.

I use Full Spectrum lighting, however, there are mixed feelings about them as to whether they really provide Vit.D. However, when the days are grey and cold, it makes the room seem "sunny" and I think it's good for everyone's psyche (me included)! :)

I don't use heat panels as I have the bird room on automatic temperature control.
