Binky - Cinnamon Rainbow Lorikeet
Hello! I have acquired an 18 month old lorikeet (if you have read my other posts you are probably sick and tired of hearing this; I have posted it so many times), which has been named 'Binky'. I love the name, as we do not know if it is a boy or girl, and this name suits both genders. Only, I love to name her my own name. I have no idea, and I am not looking for something like 'bubbly pops' or something ridiculous, yet I am not looking for something like 'Elizabeth' because I don't want to be formal. I would like something to suit a lorikeets bubbly, chatting and exciting nature, but also something to suit me, and I am not one for ridiculous names (no offence for anyone who does have a name like that for their bird/likes ridiculous names). Can you imagine calling you bird?
'Bubbly Pops! Over here! BUBBLY POPS! NOW. Aaaarrrgghhhh, disobedient little bird. BUBBLY POPS!' (I really am sorry if I offended anyone, but it is only a matter of opinions, nothing is 'right' or 'wrong' in terms of names). If anyone has any suggestions, or would like to give me the name of their bird, please post below!
Thanks!:D

A cinnamon rainbow, wow, awesome! :) I would love to see a photo (or a link to a thread with photos ;) )

I am horrible with name suggestions, but I look forward to seeing other people's suggestions.

Congrats on the new lori! :)

Were you thinking a person name? Or just a word?

Just brainstorming here but...

Nutmeg
Berry
Jack/Jackie
Iggy (ignatius)
Ziggy
Newton (as in the scientist - first to understand the rainbow)
Zipper
Fizzy
Buffy
Spike

I don't have my bird yet (going to see him tomorrow, yay!) but he shall be called Squadron Commander the Lord Flashheart (named for the dashing flying ace and adventurer from Blackadder). Flashheart most days and Flash for short.

Here are a few fantastic names that would suit a lorikeet.
• Pimples
• Sha'Quay'Quay
• Quon'Davius
• Triple Chocolate Fudge Brownie Bites
• 闭云长山丰
• Smitty Werberjaggermanjenson

If your bird poops alot then you can name him Poopoo Pete or something.

How about Clyde? It's a "normal" name and it could be sort of a derivation of kaleidoscope beacause of his lovely colours. (Yes, I know you don't know whether he's a boy or not, but you could just call him a boy, he/she won't mind)ss
