Do you have any other pictures? She almost looks like a sort of rosella parrot mutation, but I am not sure by the picture.

They're australian parrots, look her up :) You might find a similar parrot.

It is either a mutation of green rosella, eastern, or western rosella. I am certain that it is a rosella or even some sort of parakeet.

By the way, beautiful bird!

Where do you live? I think I've seen another picture of a bird similar to yours that is common in Australian. I wish I could remember what it was...

Rosellas don't talk very well, nor very often. I won't say it's impossible, just work really hard with her.

The bird you have is a Lutino Indian Ringneck. It's quite beautiful. Let us know if we can help you further.:blue:

Thanks, AD! I was almost convinced that it was a rosella. I don't happen to know a lot about rosellas though.

Definitely a Kakariki.

I had no idea. Based on the picture, I was sure it was a Lutino Indian Ringneck with the beak and color. I guess the picture didn't come through very well for me. I think it is neat to have unusual birds. I just had someone bring me a B&G that used to be at Disney and she had a (if I remember correctly) a mouse bird. It was the cutest thing. Has anyone else ever heard of these? I guess there aren't many around.:blue:

I actually know a lot about mousebirds! I wanted one a long time ago, until I found out that they're usually about 300 bucks or more. They are so sweet, they love to cuddle. I'd like to share a video with you guys, showing just how much they love to cuddle.

If my life permitted me, I'd have an aviary full of hand-raised birds. They could totally become my hobby.
Lol, I wish!
