Hi everyone, I was wondering how often fruits and veggies should be fed? im just worried if i feed them to much, the bird will get to many vitamins and could possibly get sick? or am i just being paranoid?

They could not get to many vitamins from fruits and veggies.

It's pretty hard to OD on most vitamins, though with many potent supplements it is possible if they're not used properly (The proper way to use supplements for parrots is to not use them.)

But fruits and veggies don't have anywhere near the potency of vitamins to cause a problem.

AD, you rock. ;)
I couldn't have said it better myself.

Yes, give them plenty of fresh veggies every day, and make sure you wash them really well. It's actually a good idea to wash veggies even if it says 'prewashed and ready to eat', you can never be too safe.

Supply plenty of variety, that way not only is it healthier, but you can find out what birdie's favorites are. I have a big container in my refridgerator full of prewashed and chopped vegetables, so that I can just pour a small portion on a plate when its that time.

Here's a list of veggies that I put into the mixture:

Steamed broccoli crowns
Raw broccoli leaves
Green leaf lettuce
Organic baby spinach
Carrots, steamed and chopped

Hope this hlps you some! ;)
