my parents could really use my help at their cabin this weekend. I just finished serving our country a few weeks ago and moved into a new apartment a week ago and got new cage for Sonny. still isn't comfortable in new home, and still regaining trust and our bond. its a 4 hour car ride one way. should i not go, or will she be okay to come? and how should i prepare for the travel if it will be okay for her? I miss her so much i dont want to leave her for the weekend. thank you

If she hasnt gotten comfortable in her new home , i dont suggest that you take her on the trip or changer her environment too much right now. You dont want to stress her out.

I have heard the "bird experts" say that when you have a new bird don't plan on going anywhere for at least the first year.

Hi SonnySun, welcome to a great forum.
Dusty and SB have given you great advise, try not to stress the bird unnecessary.
"sorry mom and dad" sure they will undertand..........
