No, it's not a sparrow, mousebird and doesn't look like a house wren as well (I have both sparrows and wrens nesting under my roof). :) Looks like a kinglet to me. :)

me too and the bird looks so trustful that it hurts watching it

Usually when you find a bird that doesn't run from a human they are either injured or they are exhausted from migration. A "fall out" is birder's heaven, but it's not good for the bird. What it means is the birds are migrating and weather has forced them to the ground. Generally these birds are exhausted and hungry and unable to get away, so humans can get close. An ethical birder will give the bird space and watch through binocs, but there's always that one yahoo......
