Hi all,

So I am becoming pretty active on these forums, and i'd like to continue to be.

I will make post here and there, and create threads here and there.

When you create a thread you can go to your personal page and see the threads you've created. It will be bold writing if there is a new post that you have not seen in the thread.

This is very convenient

Unfortunately i have not found a way to find out if there are new posts in a thread that i have posted in but is not not my thread.

For example

Ravensgryf creates a thread. there are 3 other posts in this thread. i read it find it interesting and have something to offer so i make a 4th post. Id like to be able to see if there were any posts after my post the way it show you if someone posted in your thread, without having to go through every thread that i've posted in (There is a list of everything i've posted, but it doesnt show if there is new unread posts after mine)

Very time consuming going through them all (sometimes more than once)
:21:
If this is not possible, to be notified in some manner, i will be making a post in the suggestions topic area with a polite request!!

If you go to "user cp" up at the top of the page you will see a list of topics you have commented on. Go to the bottom of the list and click "see all" and you will see a list. Then you just look toward the right hand side to see who has commented last. It is not really "official notification" but you can see who has commented last and kind of keep track mentally :)

No problem, I just discovered it recently because I am not bright enough to get that "cp" stands for control panel and had just never checked it out. I was using the "posts made by silversage" button which was VERY inefficient. I think though that for a very active member it works pretty well, since you kind of get to know people and remember who is posting what and such, so it gets easier to glance at a post and think "Oh, Kiwibird said such and such, I remember that." and not have to open it.

Also under UserCP on the left if you go to "Edit Options" and scroll down just a bit you will see "Default Thread Subscription Mode". You can click the drop down box and choose to be notified by e-mail when a thread you've posted in has new posts.
