Gagging-Affection or something else??

I'm not sure if this should go under General Healthcare or another forum,so mods, please move to proper forum if it should. Kisskiss,my Indian Ringneck, gags when I make a kiss noise at her or when I talk to her in my "cutey baby" voice. She never regurgitates, but gags clearly,sometimes even making a little noise (kind of like a sigh,a normal noise one would make while gagging). I am clearly her person and she only does it when I talk to her. Not the entire time I'm talking to her,but when I start talking to her or blow her low-end I keep talking,she stops. I'm just wondering if anyone else's bird does or has done this and would like opinions as to whether it's a sign of affection like regurgitating or something else completely. As I'm fairly new to parenting, I could use some help translating lol. Thanks all! Oh,we have a vet appt in few weeks for checkup in case it's anything medical.
