Hello all!
As some of you know, we have recently rescued an Eclectus male from a bad situation. Well, over the last couple weeks, we have slowly moved him closer to our female African Grey so they can get used to one another.
The other day, I rolled our Grey's cage outside for some fresh air and sun, and decided to place my male Ekkie in there with her. They seemed to get along well.
I feel it may be beneficial for them to be in one cage for company, since they both came from bad homes and pluck/destroy feathers. Maybe a friend or companion would help?
My MAIN question... is; can those two species breed? I wouldn't want any weird hybrid babies. LOL. I'm under the impression they cannot, but I wanted to ask the experts!
