does anyone have any experience with this aviary? A couple months ago I spent a good half hour talking to one of the owners, Terry. She was incredibly kind and very willing to answer all of my questions, give me a tour of the store, and even took me into the boarding area to show me a couple different species.

I have been looking at them harder and harder, and watching what they have available. They often have a good variety available. I could likely get *almost* any bird I want there ,(since I'm not thinking super rare here) and they do offer services such as vaccinations and harness training so that by the time the bird comes to me it will be harness ready.

The birds on display looked great, and everything was so clean. Found out recently they allow customers to handle the birds so I might take my partner out there for a visit. There were a number of people visiting and bonding with the babies they were waiting for.

Is there anything - good bad and ugly - you can share about these folks? They have certainly piqued my interest, especially since they are very much driving distance for me.

I've bought food there and always looked at the birds. I think they have a good reputation. Featherheads, the other local one, however, does NOT have a good reputation. Stay away from them!!!
