Quick question about cooking. Ive never broiled anything before. Is broiling ok with a parrot in the house?
thank you!

So long as there is proper ventilation, I don't see why not. But proper ventilation is very important, as avian respiratory systems are extremely sensitive. Strong fumes or cooking smoke can be overwhelming to them.

Is your oven non-stick interior (not just the broiler portion, but any part of the oven because the whole thing is going to get HOT)? Broiling is done at extremely high temperatures (500-700 degrees, depending how good your oven is) and teflon begins breaking down/releasing deadly to parrots fumes around 400 degrees. If it is non-stick lined I would' risk it.

Edit that please. If it's nonstick lined i would not risk it.
