Hello everyone

Just noticed this today, on my B&G there seems to be this black feather spotting. I havent noticed it before, if anyone could shed some light I would greatly appreciate it.

She was taken to the vet around 2 weeks ago for a general inspection and had a smear test and everything was said to be perfect !

Edit: she is behaving normally, very friendly as usual

Thanks to anyone who can help

It looks like nothing i have ever seen  Usually with nutritional deficiencies or liver disease the feathers get yellow patches rather then black. The only thing i could think of (i know it sounds a bit weird) but your bird may have had some fruit that was a dark color that stained her feathers, or possibly another source of staining. Anyway i think it may be a good idea to visit an avian vet and see what they think. :D

btw: by the look of her other beautiful feathers she is most likely fine, so i wouldn't stress to much.

Are you sure it isn't where she got wet ? How do her feathers look after a bath?
