Large cages.

Hey all,
I will be getting a larger bird in the near future and would like to provide as large of a cage as possible. I will have plenty of room; my only concern is finding a cage I can actually get in the door. (My father built a large cage for our goffin) Are most cages collapsible? I've also had a breeder recommend a large dog kennel as an "indoor aviary".

Thanks in advance.

all mine came in kitset boxes :) I can't get it between rooms without taking it about though!

The larger cages I got, the hardest part to get through doors is always the top as this is usually not collapsible. You can perhaps get the dimensions of each piece by emailing the manufacturer.

For reference, I had the Interpet Mexico cage that I got through a small apartment foyer and my apartment door that is at a 90 degree angle. Noncollapsible 2x3x4 foot dome top.

Hope that helps.
