Today has been exciting. First I accept responsibility for pushing Buzz too far. While trying to train him, he flew off his cage and under a bed (danggit)!!!! I placed two bowls under the bed for him, one food, two water and left him alone. My pig dogs ate his food (really?).

Buzz is back in his cage now. I had to towel him, and he was a hungry boy for sure. He's good now, no training tonight, we will pick up again in the morning.

Perjo - Female CAG hatch Nov 2015
I'm lucky, when Perjo flies without clearing from the tower she quickly looks at me and for me as she knows she's kind of did something she's not supposed to do. She waddles over to me slowly and steps up immediately.

She's becoming a pretty decent indoor flier though, I feel a little better when she does decide to take flight as she seems to do it with a specific landing pad in mind.

Step-up, is so very difficult for everyone from under a bed. Just not enough vertical room. Done it, but would prefer not to have to ever again!

Since you have run into this. I would switch training to target what we call: 'Come-Mere' training. You will be surprised how often we have used it!

Dogs - Bird Food - not surprised one bit!

Me

LOLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!! Step up from under the bed is so degrading. There is no winning. I have converted to a desperate, whiny "pleassssseeee, come hhheeerrreeeeeeeeee!!!!!"

Homeboy is now in his cage. Not sure if it was my begging.
