Sorry for the 4 letter word! hah..

So I really have no problem with bird poop since I've been around it for 20+ years... but I know a lot of people that freak out about it.

I'm even to the point where when I can tell that Pooka is about to poop on the floor, I can put my hand under her to catch it and then wash my hands (instead of the carpet!) and it doesn't really bother me

Anyone else awkwardly and inappropriately casual about poo? :)

Willow the Umbrella Cockatoo
I get annoyed when Willow decides not to go back to her cage. Only happens when I leave her on the back of a chair tho, all other times she will climb down (and occasionally fly) back to her cage and then relieve herself. She's really good about it 99% of the time.

Fly free Plum, my gorgeous boy.
No it doesn't bother me either. Plum will on occasion fly off me onto the carpet and poop. I find it quite funny because as I am cleaning it off he comes to mimic me/help clean it up, wiping his beak on the carpet nearby. Part and parcel of ... IMO.

I'm teaching Nigel to say, that's nasty! Bwahahahaha! I think I must be too easygoing as mistakes are few.

RIP Gandalf and Big Bird, you are missed.
The good news is that most parrot poop has no odor. A big plus, compared with the terrible stench from Macmillan poop!

Doesn't really bother me. Sometimes when I take him out of the cage the first time, I talk to him and greet him. Then he lays it on me. Or he'll poop on the carpet. Then he'll look down where he pooped. Nice way of greeting me back. I know when he's about to do it sometimes so I also put him in a different direction if he's on my hand.

One thing is, if I get another house I'm not having carpet where the birds are!

Have had birds for over 15 years now, and nope! Doesn't bother me!

I don't like touching it, but it's like "Eeeww.... Ok! Time to go wash my hands!" and that's it. I've walked around in public with bird poop unknowingly on my clothes! LOL

Seriously tho, they are smart enough to learn where the poo place is. Don't be discouraged, there's lots of tutorials online how to lessen the poo party taking place everywhere. My CAG now poos in designated places and rarely has a mistake.

You definitely have me beat. I don't freak out about poop by any means, but it will be a warm day in Antarctica before I intentionally stick my hand out to catch it. You are one not easily grossed out individual my friend.
