Chew toys?

Last night while Nyla was on my shoulder, i noticed she kept chewing at my ear. this isn't uncommon, but i was wearing silicone earrings (gauges) and noticed that she's been CHEWING ON THEM.

so i changed them out last night before heading to bed, and today while she was on my shoulder she DID IT AGAIN. only this time the only part of my earrings that were plastic are replaceable rings that (thankfully) i had extras of.

clearly, i need to get new earrings. but is there anything else i can do to prevent her from chewing on plastic? she chews on anything plastic that she can get her beak on

Make a necklaces! Leather cord and lots of pieces of wood and random bits and bobs put onto the string and tied around your neck!

I put a scarf or bandana over my head and ears. My ears are inch and a quarter, the scarf works well. It's the only thing I can do to prevent Early Bird from chewing my jewelry and climbing my head.
