Pairs of birds

Hello everyone,

So my sister had noticed my Senegal and GCC conure and decided she wanted to get a pair of birds as well. She's kept budgies in the past and babysitter both my birds whenever I went on trips. Ive decided to help her. I know that birds in pairs tend to prefer each other over human interaction. Like lovebirds for an example are great companions alone but in pairs they prefer each other and don't need human interaction. Are there any species that go together as a pair and still love their humans?

Thanks

I would suggest a couple of things;

FIRST: Get a same sex pair! Why deal with the complication of preventing breeding when you don't have to? And if you DONT get a same sex pair, then you need to be SURE the pair is not related, just in case.

SECOND; get a pair from a non-monogamous species rather than a pair bond species. My favorite non-monogamous species (ok my favorites in general I'll be honest) are cockatiels and Indian Ringnecks.

THIRD; buy tame birds. Taming and training two IS harder than one.
