I don't know anything about leg bands but I was searching for something that might help you. Are you sure it's RGA and not RCA? I found this site: http://www.pamperedpeeps.com/bandsbreeders.htm

Janquito I've looked at that list and thought the same thing. I checked the band numerous times hoping I had misread it.
Dave i didn't see a state. It's possible it's been worn off. There are 3 letters followed by a space then 3 numbers. The band is silver color. Looks like aluminum. And the letters and numbers are printed fairly clear. I had someone else look at them also to confirm what I saw.
The bird was owned by a relative that past away. His parents are in their mid 80's and can't recall when he got it. I've checked with other family members and best we can figure is he got the bird about 17 years ago. He lived in lower NY.
