Concerned about seeds

In my parents house
Parrots
A cockatiel, a bourke, and three budgies
I was giving my birds some new seed (they only get seed in the evening now, they get veggies and fruits in the morning) and I found a small, black, "shiny" seed. I don't know what it is, I've never seen it before. I'm concerned with it, and now I'm thinking about changing brands. I'm not sure if this seed is something toxic or not. I've found Apple seeds in this brand already, (just yesterday) and I'm really concerned about this food I use Hartz cockatiel diet, and I've used it for months without problems, but now that that these seeds are appearing I'm really concerned (and I've said that how many times?) these are pictures of the seed I just found, the second one is the seed compared with the other seeds found in the food.
What brand would you recommend I feed my birds?

Although I don't know what seed that is, I just had a look at the ingredient list for you seed (Hartz Bonanza cockatiel diet?) and I don't seed anything on the list that looks like your seed there. Thank google search for this.
Personally if this were my seed I would've changed at the first apple seed. The product is not as described, there could be a potential dangers you wouldn't know about.

I can recommend the seed mix I use but a lot of people see to use the tropimix brand by hagen (includs pellets in it). Not that I wouldn't recommend it, I just use a different Hagen seed mix, and Hagen's normal pellet mix (though to be honest, there are pellets in the seed mix I use too, as well as lentils and a few tried fruits).

Oh, may a possible alternative could be nutiberries? I used them as well as loose seed (i can hide a few bits of seed in my birds cage but nutiberries are bigger an better for bribing... ).Nutiberries don't contain such a wide mix of seed and other ingredients but they do contain some pellets and fruit, and no sunflower seeds.
