There have been quite a few threads on cage cleaning, another recent one was with steam cleaning using the little self contained steam cleaners such as "the shark", you can also do a good cleaning inexpensively with things you may already have around the house, a nylon brush and some vinegar and water does a good job of both cleaning and disinfecting
In addition to vinegar and water I use this product for the hard hard stuff.
