Hello, I'm new to the forums and have just went here a few times to look at others posts, and though this would be the best place to ask this question. Is it alright to have two sibling sun conures in the same cage?

The reason being is that I reserved a spot for a hatching sun conure a whIle back. Since then I've been looking at their progress. Turns out one of the three chicks had a splayed leg. They said this one will be at a discount because of that. So now I'm faced with the opportunity of getting two?

From what I know and just common sense having two is double the mess and toys. I've already got a cage:
Bar Spacing: 3/4’’;Cage Size: 24’’ X 22’’ X 38’’

I think that's already too small for two, but I'll get some opinions first.

I figured getting two would help keep each other company while I'm away at school (~9 hours) but the shop owner said they won't bond as well to me specifically. Just want to know your opinions! I'm open for ANYTHING

I'd add a picture but I'm not sure how to on phone. If anyone knows how please let me know :D
