So my friend's mom recently got a budgie and they're wanting to let it free fly with their conure, but they're worried about possible babies? Now, I wouldn't think conures and budgies could breed let alone produce viable offspring but thought I might as well ask?

No possibility of offspring but lots of possibility for dead or mutilated budgie if they aren't careful.

I'd be careful wouldn't want the budgie harmed by the conure ..

Rio (Yellow sided conure) sadly no longer with us
haha I'd be interested in what a budgie/conure hybrid would look like but no

yes the fear would be between them interacting together. Maybe try putting the cages next to each other for a bit and seeing if they get aggressive with each other from behind bars? It can give a good indication of how they feel about each other

I would be careful free flying and letting them interact. I have a conure and budgie also they don't show any interest in each other, but if he wanted to the conure could do some serious damage to the little budgie.
