eyes open?

so i have tried to see for myself, but do birds sleep with their eyes open? every time i look his eyes are open...

Here is one of her fast asleep in a tree by Kruger Nation Park. Too much fresh air I suppose.:D Snakes sleep with their eyes open.

hehe!

Cal sleeps with her eyes shut but as it is only napping in the day, slightest movement and they shoot open! ;)

At night she is covered but if I peek in the morning to see she's ok one eye half opens hehe.

Eyes are closed. This pic was taken on Levi's second night home. He's asleep on hubby's shoulder...this was before he decided he hates my husband! BTW, the scarf is for protection...hubby doesn't wear pink! LOL!

i guess the dogs make to much noise in the morning and i dont catch it!

Eyes Closed, but, most birds eyes will open at the slightest of sounds, so that's probably why you can't seem to catch them closed.
