I know that the recommended bar spacing for a Timneh African Greys is 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch. I found a VERY large cage, but the bar spacing in 1 inch. I was wondering if that was too big. I don't want to move an African Grey into an unsafe habitat. I have been researching parrots for a few years and SOME people have allowed their TAGs to have one inch bar spacing, but I just want to double check.:19:

My Ekkie is in a 1 inch bar spacing cage and he’s perfectly fine. Almost seems perfect actually. TAGs are about the same size, so I can’t imagine it’s a problem for a TAG

My CAGs both have 1 inch bar spacing, and they are fine with that. I don't think I would go any lower than 3/4 as it makes it hard for them to get around the cage using the bars.
