Iā€™m looking for the best breeders for Rose/Galah Cockatoos. I live in Utah so would likely have to be shipped. Money is not a concern as I have been saving and learning for a few years now. Willing to pay any and all costs. Also interested in rescues but all my local bird rescues donā€™t have this specific breed available. Thanks for tour time!

Senegal Parrot named "Kane"; Yellow-Sided Green Cheek Conure named "Bowie"; Blue Quaker Parrot named "Lita Ford"; Cockatiel named "Duff"; 8 American/English Budgie Hybrids; Ringneck Dove named "Dylan"
Your best bet is to find a breeder and put a deposit down for their next clutch, unless you are lucky enough to find a breeder with a current clutch that is available, but most take deposits long in advance...

Here is a Galah Breeder in Fruit Heights, UT

This one kept popping-up, this place is in Illinois, but I've heard of them before, they are a Avian Pet Shop that breeds and hand-raises all of their birds in-house...Apparently they have some baby Galahs that are not spoken for as of yet, they are still weaning, but you can put a deposit down and they will ship them to you at your expense...a bit pricey, but still available...

Just a word of caution to you, when looking online for a baby Cockatoo, Macaw, or African Grey, be very, very cautious, as there are a million scammers online that take deposits and then you never hear from them again. You're best to buy from either a private breeder of Galahs that has an established website and that you can check-out, like the first link I posted, or from a reputable, established, and verifiable Bird Shop that breeds and hand-raises their babies in-house, like the second link I posted...Other than that, stay away from Craigslist adds that are private individuals that you cannot verify, same with a few of the major sites like www.birdbreeders.com and www.birdsnow.com because while there are many legitimate breeders and shops that advertise on these two sites, the scammers also advertise on them too, so you have to be able to distinguish between the two...

Thank you SO much for your help and your advice. I wrote the first link you sent me. I also have been in contact with someone via Facebook who has one for sale she can no longer keep. So looks like I have a few options. I appreciate your time and effort so much!
