I entered a contest at my local pet store and won 100lbs of Higgins Intune pellets So basically they will keep a running tab and since I have one small gcc I can get the smaller bags when I need them until I hit 100lbs of food. This is the only brand of food this store carries for some reason and everything else has to be special ordered. I usually feed zupreem naturals or roudybush. Is this food just as good or better than these two or should I just cut my losses and find somewhere to donate my food. The contest was a mystery prize so I had no idea I would win this much food I have entered before and won a Play stand and some toys here and there.

All are rescues- had to leave their previous homes for 'reasons', are still in contact with them :)
I have noooo idea, but congratulations anyway. :)

You could always pick up a small bag and compare ingredients first?

Maybe you got really lucky and Zazu likes them.

Looking at the ingredients I think it is on par with the Zupreem Natural and its first ingredient is Corn as is the first ingredient of the Higgins. I'm guessing your bird will readily accept it.

As said, looks pretty good! My issue, first ingredient is corn! And the third ingredient is soy, which I avoid for myself, my family, and my pets!
Wow! 100lbs

Yea I was very shocked this is at least a year of food for my boy. He doesn't eat many pellets anyway I just kinda do it because I'm so afraid I am not going to provide everything in his chop. I have done so much research on chop and I am pretty sure I provide everything needed. ( Last chop: Brussel Sprouts, Cauliflower, Red, Yellow, and orange bell peppers, Blueberries, strawberries, yellow squash, zucchini, rainbow carrots, soaked tops seed mix, soaked halved peas, sprouted red and green lentils, sprouted chickpeas, and finally soaked quinoa. I try to change it up to keep things fun fresh and well rounded, but a batch like this lasts me about 3wks.)

Great, I just got a Notice-To-Quit from Julio. He said something about a surprise move to you place! :D

Great win! Check if your local Rescue can use some of those Pellets. Good of them allow you to check in out in small bags.

Honestly, I think Nike eats maybe 10 pounds a year and that may be high. I buy her Harrison's in 1lb bags because she eats so few and I try to make them stay as fresh as I can. I only give her what I think she will eat so there is little waste. She's around 200 grams.

I keep his in the original bag in my fridge and seal it back up with all the air pushed out. I honestly don't know how long this will last us I have never even kept up with how long it takes us to go through a 2lb bag of zupreem. I am probably going to donate half of my winnings if Zazu likes it back to the store they run a small rescue inside the store and that's the closest rescue for 4hrs, plus its where I rescued my little guy.
