Japie (m) & Appie (f), both are congo african grey;
All are rescues- had to leave their previous homes for 'reasons', are still in contact with them :)
Since you are not going to breed him...does it really matter?


They usually lose all the red (exept the tail) when they molt into their adult plumage anyway.

To be honest with you, I don't really think so...My brother (Jagger, a no 33 year-old CAG that my mom brought home when I was 9) occasionally has some "tinted" feathers like that, but they aren't ever around for long. All of the Red-Factor CAG's that I've seen are extremely obvious...

I dont really care, but i just think it might be a cool thing.

Either way im excited to get him in a week.

So exciting!!!! Seven whole days to wait???too long!

Just 6 more now!

I still have my maths and essay exams undone (next tuesday and this friday) and then it's off to Germany to get Andy.
