Poor baby!

Without a parrot vet in your country, perhaps a normal animal vet can still be of help. I would rush in your bird immediately and get the leg fixed if you can, otherwise your bird is suffering much pain. How did it get broken?

kept her in the balcony with chain on the stand . i went for a little shoping , and when i came her leg was broken . i think she tried to fly with the chain on .

The red marking is broken. her leg moves but from the marking to feet and fingers does not move .

Have you brought her to the local vet?? She needs medical attention just as you would with a broken leg.

This is the reason why chains are not used in the USA -- they tend to break their legs this way so easily. Its never recommended to leave them alone on a chain unsupervised, so leaving the house with a chain on your birds leg was a big no-no. Harnesses work much better and are much safer so I highly recommend if your bird makes it through this you get one.

In the absence of a avian specialist, I’d call every vet clinic, wildlife rehab, zoo etc... available and see who’d be willing to try to splint the leg. My moms amazon broke her foot many years ago and it was fixed by a sympathetic local vet who mainly treated dogs and cats but would also see small animals too. He consulted by phone with an avian vet about what to do. In this day and age, it would be much easier for a local vet to consult with an avian specialist anywhere in the world via video chat for better advice. I’d recommend you ask.

The vet who treated my moms bird did a good job. Her foot healed ever so slightly crooked, but is still fully functional and the only long term issue has been arthritis has formed in that foot in recent years (the bird is now in her late 40s/early 50s so not unexpected for arthritis to happen in an old injury). All the other local vets wanted to put her down. Keep calling around, I’m sure you can find someone to help.
