I was boiling water for tea and I thought "wow this kettle is taking forever to boil!" so i went back into the kitchen and realized I turned the WRONG BURNER ON! All that time the flame was on an empty saucepan. This one to be precise: https://www.cuisinart.com/shopping/cookware/saucepans/gg19-14

It says:'ceramic Nonstick Technology: PTFE/PFOA-Free nonstick surface for healthy cooking. Petroleum-Free ceramic-based nonstick interior helps to conserve oil consumption

My bird is upstairs and the kitchen is downstairs. I have windows open and vent running. I can smell a slight burny smell upstairs but not in his room. Will he be okay? I'm monitoring him.

That is not ceramic! Is your parrot ok?
I am still reading on it!

Got it!

"WHAT ABOUT THE NON-STICK COATING?
Is Quantanium like Teflon?
In one word, the answer is Yes! Think of it as another brand of non-stick coating. But according to a user of Cuisinart hard anodized cookware, it is like ‘Teflon on steroids!
Quantanium, like MOST non-stick coatings, does contain the chemical PTFE which is also used in the making of Teflon. So if that is a consideration for you, then this might not be the right set for you!"

I confused Ceramica with Quantanium!
But Ceramica is only ceramic based!
These articles will help!

The magic of 'marketing' and 'fake' chemistry.

Ceramic products are commonly built around a solid base (like cast iron) and a thick lay of ceramic. They are fired to a specific temperature, which melts the powdered ceramic, thus bonding with the cast iron.

Heavy and expensive are a hallmark of Ceramic cooking products.

The one I have is part of their "greengourmet" set. Reading on the bottom it says GG 19-18. Its not the same as the one you linked I don't believe. The Green gourmet set says this:
"Ceramic-based, eco-friendly nonstick coating that helps conserve existing oil supplies. The handles are made of 70% recycled steel and it is completely free of PTFE and PFOA."

I was lucky that it wasn't a part of their PTFE set. Jojo is acting like Jojo so all is well!

You're safe. The link you gave say "PTFE/PFOA-Free". You were right to air out any smoke. Just be careful not to chill the bird, but then I don't think it is that cold in VA.

A good remind why "I'll be careful" is not good enough when it comes to non-stick cookware. Accidents happen. Kudo's to you for having the right pans.
