Growing bird foods indoors

SO now that we are all indoors with social quarantine, what are some easy and good bird foods to grow indoors, so we can make sure they get their fair amount of fresh foods?

Sprouts are one. What are good mixes/brands to sprout?

What are good types of fresh herbs?

What kind of small vegs and fruits?

The easier the better, as I do not have a green thumb.

If youve got favored brands or links, that would be appreciated, too.

I know a lot of you can grow victory gardens, but in this thread I am concerned with those of us here who dont have land, and need to grow our food indoors.

How about arugula, spinach, etc? Many dark greens have varieties that do well in containers and like cool temps. Many herbs can be grown in containers, and believe it or not I have a tomato plant growing in my windowsill right now! It just sprouted and stayed alive. I did not plant it or take care of it. A cherry tomato must have fallen off the window last summer and landed in a small container of soil I have there with a jade baby in it. Things like hibiscus do well in a sunny window, but may be too slow growing to be helpful. Clover can do alright in a sunny window. I've never tried growing dandilion indoors but since it is so hard to kill I bet it would do alright.

Sorry, specifics. I have currently rosemary, basil, purselane, sage, catnip, lemon balm, ginger, aloe, hibiscus, tomato, oregano, garlic, pineapple, lavender all growing indoors. All doing well. Mints would also be fine, thyme, majoram, catgrass, etc etc etc would work well too. What is your lighting situation like? You may need to get some plant lights if your windows aren't great or if your garden grows.
