There's something undesirable about the way/ingredients used when the fruit is dried. What's wrong with fresh hun, can't beat it?

It is important to understand that the process of 'drying fruit' tends to concentration the amount of natural sugar by volume. Clearly, adding sweetener only increases the amount.

Most of the year this is at most a limited issue. But during natural hormonal season you could experience the rush of normal hormones, plus a Parrot on a 'Sugar High'.

One commonly wants to limit the amount of sugar that is provided to our Parrots.

They also use additives etc when drying commercially.
