My moustache parakeet, Tashi, is molting and LOVES soaking in a bowl of cold water. She snuggles down into it and her eyes close blissfully before flapping around happily. Problem is, the bowl I have is only about 9-10" across, so she only has room to get her belly clean. I'd love to get her a larger dish to bathe in, but can't seem to find a decently large enough food-safe bowl. (Aside from a huge stainless steel bowl that she is terrified of, dork that she is. ❤) Would one of these wild bird bath bowls be safe?

If not, what bowls would you recommend that ARE parrot-safe?

I use human serving dishes. I recently broke mine. So when I came across this huge dip platter I got it! My birds love it. They all took baths in it this morning! Sorry I couldn't tempting them again for a photo op.

Mine prefer the upright edges to grip when getting in and out. I'm sure those bowls could work , but knowing what I have tried and how my birds use, they would not like the lack of lip on those.

I would LOVE to use human serving dishes. Problem is, I can't find anything wide enough AND deep enough. Tashi's funny; she really loves to have a good inch to inch and a half of water in the bowl. She's fine with the lack of a wide rim on the one she uses now; she just holds onto the edge of the bowl with her beak and eases her body into the water. I've even caught the goofball tossing herself in back-first. My parrot is a weirdo, lol.

We have long used Glass Pie Dishes. The old fashion heavy ones. They are wide enough that even 500 grams of Amazon doesn't tilt them. Commonly found in Garage Sales, etc...
