I'm researching birds right now and was hoping when I got one that I could take it in the shower with me...problem is I have my bellybutton pierced.

I know birds like shiny things seeing as my cockatiel use to try and pull my earring out haha

So do any of you have piercings that you bird could see in the shower? What do you do in that situation?

I actually have my lip pierced and I did wonder about how Savannah would react to it. The first few times she approached it while on my shoulder I told her "no" firmly. Honestly, I have not had a problem since. She ignores it for the most part. Actually, my earlobes seem more appealing. It probably depends on the bird but I really do not think you would have an issue considering the placement. It would be rather hard for a bird to get to your belly piercing in the shower. lol
