Blue Fronted Amazon

Hi. I'm new to the forum. I am wondering about my blue fronted amazon. It used to like me very much and all of a sudden it started striking at me and biting me. I've been keeping away from it as it won't even let me put food in its dish. It LOVES my husband and never has a problem stepping up to him.
Is there something I should be doing to bring the bird back around?

Well. You, my family, and many others who own amazons are experiencing homonons. Lol
My yellow crown is doing the same to all my family and other fids.
It will lighten up when the breeding season is over. Is your amazon a boy or girl? And how old is she/he? Don't worry. But let me tell you that it's only hormones and is only tempary. The reason she/he like your husband is because he/she's bonded to him as a potential mate. Amazons are typically one person birds. Essp during this time of year. By you can dis encourage the Behaviour with the help of you husband.
Also. Amazons are one of the most re homes birds. And guess why?
They get hormonal. Most won't give em a chance. The typical re home age is 4-10 years.
The harmonal years. Like I stated above. It's only temporary. = D

It depends on the age of your Amazon with regards to hormones. There maybe just a very simple reason why your BF is acting this way.

And how much diffrent do you act then him??
Have you changed you daily rutine??

Also why it makes sence for you to be experiencing sexual aggression is because he or she has a specific bond with another member. When yu and him used to be ok. Now he's not. And given that it's harmonal season. It's like sayin 2+2=4. Not 5.
Read that articl given. It teaches you how to deal with sexual aggression. Parrots seem to respond to domanitce and age. Rather than an " alpha" male
They run though a series of stages as us humans do. As childhood to adult hood.
Think about the respect levels parrots have for children. 0 to none. For the most part.
