I got my first budgies for my 7th birthday. A green male, Chester (named after my neighbor's pony), and the most beautiful pied female, Snowy (white, yellow face, black spots, blue belly and tail). I loved them more than anything. And they loved each other more than anything. One thing led to another and 3 sisters were born: Kid (green) and twins Seasea and Weasletail (yellow w green bellies). I gave the twins to my grandparents and they sold my birds! I hope they have a good home. Another daughter (probably) was born later but she/he died very young. Sadly, a few years later Snowy then Chester passed away. Kid is still with us.
I am sure that somewhere a Red Fern grows for my birds, for I have never seen a greater love.

None. My wife has one too many. Kidding!
Beautiful.
A red fern is in my mind, right now, lush and vibrant, thriving in tribute.
Thank you!

Beautifully said, Rival. I have one now, too... a red fern, that is.
Thank you, Cockatiel Mom,.
