These are but a very few for you to see. There are hundreds more in foster homes.

ADOPTABLE BIRDS
Here are a few of our many birds looking for their new homes.
276.jpg
RICO is a two year old nanday conure who loves to whistle and talk. He is a chatterbox who enjoys warm showers and shreddable toys. He needs to come out of the cage by himself but knows "step-up" and how to make kissies. He is a loud conure so he would not be good in an apartment. He enjoys pellets, Nutri-berries and all kinds of fruit and veggies.

OREO is a sweet, talkative 15-year old Timneh grey that loves to be around the family. She will greet you whenever you enter the room and loves to whistle and blow kisses. She generally has her cage door open from morning until night and comes and goes as she pleases. She freely comes out of her cage and really likes to have her head scratched.

CHILI BEAN is a scarlet macaw of an undetermined age. She was the forced mate to Quork, a scarlet macaw that was featured last month. She has really taken to the aviary at The Landing, and is greatly enjoying all the space and fresh air. Chili is shown here standing on a manila rope perch from Natural Inspirations. We will soon have these available at our store during events.

It would have been helpful to have this on the initial post:
Phoenix Landing:
ADOPTION AND FOSTER PROGRAM
Washington D.C. Area, Maryland, Virginia and North Carolina
Phoenix Landing operates an adoption program which covers the Washington D.C. region, as well as most of Maryland, Virginia and parts of North Carolina. In addition, we welcome applications from the Greenville-Spartanburg, South Carolina area; southern Pennsylvania; and eastern West Virginia.

We strive to find the best possible home for every bird in need. If you can offer a parrot a safe and loving environment, good nutrition, and a family to call its flock - then we would like to hear from you. Your patience and compassion may be required depending on each circumstance, but every bird is truly worthwhile and special.
