I just want to let everybody in Nortern Ca know about this awesome orginazation.
It is run by one single lady who has very much proven to me that she cares more about finding the right home for each particular bird than anything else.
She makes it really easy to adopt, she is very easy to work with, and one visit to her home based rescue will convince you that Im speaking the truth.
I have seen and helped this lady go well out of her way to make an adoption happen, many times at her own personal cost.
This is where I adopted my conure from, and this is where my loyalty lies.
Her and I have become friends over the last few months.
She GAVE me my first bird because thats the kind of person she is, but I try to make up for all that she does for me by helping her with things like the roof on her outdoor aviary, shelves in the garage, leaky faucets, changing light bulbs, whatever she needs done.
So seriously, if any body in northern Ca REALLY wants to be involved with a really great and dedicated bird rescue, go adopt from SacramentoParrotRescue.
Or, at the very least, make a donation or give her your old cage or volunteer to clean cages, whatever you can do, she will be grateful.
