Hi folks,

There's a female Scarlet Macaw who needs rescue. According to the description she needs a home within 30 days. She's listed on Rescue Me. If you can't find the site through Google, you can pm me and I'll send the direct link to you.

Here's the description:
"Feety is a 25 year old female scarlet. She was abandoned by a tenant two years ago. I have tried to place her, but have not found her a home because she is a tempermental scarlet. When her male owner was taking care of her, he could lay her on her back, scratch her tummy, snuggle her beak and preen her. They were very close. She will not let me handle her.She will require a patient, experienced male handler, but with a little work, she will be a loving mate. I need to find her a home within 30days of this posting. Please find it in your heart to give this loving girl the forever home she deserves."

If not far from lake forest, I would say bring her to Omars Birds, They might be able to help or at least point in the right direction.
