Re: When Harry Met Allee

Even though I had heard in your actual voice the wonderful saga of Harry I read this enthralled. I love you and I do love Harry and would love if it if I lived close enough for her to cuss me out!:D

Re: A red head back in my life.

She is super sweet to me and would be happy to stay on me all day. The previous home said she has laid eggs and gets quite pissy when she has them but they took them away right away and she goes back...

Re: A red head back in my life.

I am working on the photos unfortunately photobucket says I am full though I know it isn't and they want me to pay now which I am not doing. What are the alternatives to post a picture?

Re: Moving from hand-feeding formula to hard food

A baby bird should always be allowed to wean at their own pace. Provide plenty of other fresh foods as well as the pellets you want them on. Cut up fresh foods that are different sizes as well. Many...

Re: The Very Good news and the Very Bad News

I am very sorry for your loss. Many of us here know that anguish.

A note of caution. Cockatoos are very cuddly and will respond to a clingy owner however this can be a bad thing in the long run...

Re: What kind of breed is this?

Thank you for mentioning that. I was pretty sure I knew the mutation but I didn't know about breeding two white faces causing problems I knew there were some that you can't but I really haven't been...

Re: Squawking 4 Month Male (Maybe weanted too early)

I have fed many eclectus and that baby scream is alarming if you don't know that they ALL do it. Yes at that age I do feel he was weaned too early but you can help this by offering some warm comfort...

Re: What kind of breed is this?

I believe those are 'white faced (silver or cinnamon) pearls'. I said silver or cinnamon because I have seen that color called both. They would produce Pearls and maybe normal white face. Without...

Re: Black iron pipe safety?

It's not so much the weight (though it is heavy) as it is the shape and size. I debated getting those pre-cut sheets, but don't have the room to store them where they wouldn't get all crumpled or...

Re: Black iron pipe safety?

Re: 117 Birds found in Connecticut home

I agree... but I will condemn, that many birds in one house is unthinkable. You would have to have a commercial air filter to keep the conditions breathable for the birds and humans. Very...

Re: Ravens as pets?

A white necked raven that the poster is asking about is from Africa mostly. There are no white necked raven's in the US so it isn't illegal. It is illegal to take a native crow or raven in as a pet...

Re: Ravens as pets?

There really isn't a cage built that is adequate in size for them, even a double macaw cage is much too small. Most people who have them give them a bedroom to themselves AND an outdoor enclosed...

Re: Impulse Purchase (sort of) last night...

After the first feeding I got the hang of it. I am always nervous when I hand feed. If anything, this method is slower, and there is LESS chance of overfilling a crop, or putting the food down the...
