Re: VOTE, VOTE, VOTE, for everyone's sake VOTE!!!

Oregon registers you automatically as party unaffiliated when you get your drivers license or state ID. I’ve gotten ballots in the past, but this is the very first time I’ve ever voted.

Coming out in winter

So, winter is almost upon us again and I’m just wondering, does anyone take their birds out when it’s in the 50s? That’s pretty typical daytime temps here. Reason I ask- the stroller I bought at a...

Re: Desert Cockatoo or Pink Cockatoo?

I’m still so torn. As a parrot lover/fan, I actually prefer the M.M. option as I know immediately what it is, but I think for those who like birds in general but aren’t as species specific...

Re: Oregon fires

I’m debated by doing that to our box fan because you can smell smoke inside with air purifiers running. Tho I’m not sure how much an extra diy one would help.

Re: Oregon fires

Nope, no filter. I didn’t edit at all. It actually looks worse in person than in the photo/video. The camera I think compensates a bit for the smoke closer up in the frame but when you step outside,...

Re: My boys...

For those who can see videos, here are the boys conspiring against me. For those who can’t see the video, Kiwi has hulked the small door off his cage and flung it down for Cas to play with. He also...

Re: My boys...

He is a very big boy (actually, they both are lol). We are still keeping them separated. Cas likes to explore by grabbing and whacking, neither of which are actions compatible with friendly...

Oregon fires

Our entire county (Clackamas) is on some level of evacuation notice. The vast majority is mandatory, though we are fortunately on the outskirts of Portland metro and still in the green “be ready”...

Re: Southern Oregon

My entire county (Clackamas) is under some level of evacuation notice. We’ve thankfully not had to leave yet, but are ready to go at any moment. The smoke is thick enough to cut with a knife, and...

Re: Desert Cockatoo or Pink Cockatoo?

You know the only one of 50 cards I’ve struggled with the name on was the only cockatoo in the bunch:whiteblue::white1::p

Re: Desert Cockatoo or Pink Cockatoo?

While they are not all parrots, all the cards are birds. I would imagine most people interested in them would have at least some knowledge of birds.

Re: Desert Cockatoo or Pink Cockatoo?

I have illustrated a series of 50 cards featuring various birds for an oracle deck (similar in concept to tarot cards). I’m currently doing the lettering for the names (top banner) and an affirmation...

Desert Cockatoo or Pink Cockatoo?

NOT getting one of these magnificent birds, just saw both these names as AKAs for Major Mitchell’s cockatoos, which is too long for the room I have to write it out. So which one would people think...
