Re: Jenday or Sun Conure?

He's too young to be sure in any direction, but if I had to bet my money I'd say Sun or hybrid and not Jenday.
Why? Because of the yellow feathers on the shoulders, and because of yellow/light...

Re: My Sun Conure is making weird noises

Perfectly normal Conure quacking. Nothing to worry about. Cytrynka makes such sounds when she feels comfortable.

Re: How do Parrots recognize "their" people?

Interesting experiment. Seems I'm not the only one who is curious about "how our fids recognize us".

Actually, it's pretty weird. Birds don't change clothes. Birds don't wear hats and glasses. And...

Re: How do Parrots recognize "their" people?

Cytrynka definitely have a good hearing. Sometimes she calls me when she hears my car on the driveway. But she can also easily spot me from a distance and fly to me. Smarty she :)

How do Parrots recognize "their" people?

How do Parrots recognize "their" people?
Is it by the looks, by the smell, by the voice?
How do they perfectly know who's their hooman?

But let more experienced owners kick in here.

Re: Which conure is this ????

Indeed hard to be 100% sure, but IMHO it's a Sun - judging by the flash of yellow on the shoulder, and intensive orange near the beak and on the rear of the head.

Cute fluff-ball, by the way.

Everything I wrote above relates especially to Sun Conures, as it's the species of my personal bird. They're famous for being veeeery noisy birds (loud, shrilling voice - contact call). Some conures...
