My Finley goes down to the bottom of his cage and flaps away when he is mad at me. That's the only time he flies in place.

All 4 of my Conures are potty trained. The older 3 haven't had an accident in ages. I never punish them for going on me ofc if it ever does happen. I potty trained them all from the second I got them...

Keep the toy out of the cage or replace it with a new totally different toy. He'll get over it eventually and you'll probably be able to work with him. Also try target training and clicker training...
