Glad to hear. :) It is great that you are doing research before hand. I am sure you'll enjoy your new companion all the more since you will be well-prepared.

Re: Caique as first bird

I've met a few doves that liked to be cuddled, but I'm not sure if they were handraised.

Chickens and ducks aren't really well-suited for an apartment, but maybe look into quail? They're...

Re: Parrot colors fading?

Birds typically have more muted colors as young and vibrant colors come along as they grow older and molt into adult plumage. A change in color might indicate a chemical imbalance or some other...

Re: Hand Made Fleece Swings

Eris already has plenty of fleecy toys and snuggles because she's a fleece fanatic, but I'm glad that some lucky bird will get to enjoy these adorable swings.

I am 2(?) years older than you and I'm telling you right now that it might be near impossible to own a larger parrot, depending on your high school experience. I've had parrots for several years now...

Re: Conure Tail

Feathers are made out of the same material as hair. The feather is dead and cannot feel anything in any part of it besides the follicle, so measuring water temps would be impossible.

Re: Need Advice for Second Bird Please
