There is so much to be learned from parents who have birds a bit more on the mature side. And so many stories to be heard! I'm very much looking forward to this!

I kinda hate to take up more space after ventilating myself silly already in the most recent Rickeybird rant, but...
I'll contribute this.
After all these years, you might think there aren't many surprises. But there's always something! Just this week, the Rbird has yawned in my presence four times. I can't recall EVER seeing him yawn before. So of course I freaked out, Googled it, obsessed and in general went nuts before finally deciding it's okay if he yawns once in a while. I *THINK*. Right?
And then last week he found a new place to hide - behind the new big screen television.
And oh yeah, I can't find a big gray button that came off a favorite jacket... i *KNOW* I left it on the mantle.
And he has now taken to landing in the middle of the coffee table, sending papers, drinks, everything flying, just like a Labrador Retriever's tail would.
Yes, always something new, even after all these years.

Yawning: Step two, when Rb yawns next time, yawn back! It could easily turn into who can yawn longer or more often. Yup, it can turn into a game! Have Fun!!!

Also, LOVE the idea of this Forum!

I love the idea of this forum as well, and also want to thank Shawn for the idea. So many of us have older birds, with their own issues, and I think this can help so many.
