Kakariki parrot

Can anyone tell if our green Kakariki is a female? We’ve bred from the yellow male previously with a different female but these two aren’t mating yet despite being together now for about three months.

It's from my understanding that you sex Kakariki's based on size... males are bigger and broader where-as females are smaller and tinier.

If your two kaks are the same size, then I would guess that they are both males. If the green one is smaller than the yellow, then she's a female.

Parrots:
Sunny a female B&G macaw Japie (m) & Appie (f), both are congo african grey All are rescues- had to leave their previous homes for 'reasons', are still in contact with them :)
