Re: Guys i need help please!!

Just seeing this thread and I'm so sorry to hear of your loss.

Sometimes parakeets injure/mutilate/abandon the babies so they can continue nesting and laying eggs to keep making babies, which makes it hard to watch when you don't know what to do or how to help.

In the future, the mom/doad bird should not be allowed to breed anymore, take out the nestbox or any bedding provided and let them live in peace without reproducing. Otherwise you will just ned up going through this situation again and again, which will be heartbreaking to watch.

You are doing the babies right by separating them from the parents, and be sure to keep that nestbox away from the mother. If she does lay more eggs, keep them from laying more and keep them from hatching by either boiling them (to stop possible development of embryo), or replace them with dummy eggs. Either way, this hen is not fit to raise more babies with her injuring the previous clutch so badly.

Re: Guys i need help please!!

I'm so sorry for your loss, but I'm thankful he is no longer suffering and that you were there to comfort him before he passed.
I'm so glad you separated the babies from the parents, please update and let us know how they are all doing.
