Secure water/pellet cup

Sponsored Links
Help! Our caique has decided that it's fun to take his water cup and pellet cup out of the ring and dump them. We have the cups that sit in a ring screwed to the cage bars. Is there a style of cup that would be secure enough that Sir Calahad would not be able to pull it out?
Thank you for any information you can give.

Re: Secure water/pellet cup

kings cages sells stainless steal bowls that have "dimples" on the sides that lock into the ring that attaches to the cage.

Take a look at these, from Walmart! I just picked one up as a veggie dish!

Re: Secure water/pellet cup

our caique discovered the same thing. he realized if he flips his dish mommy and daddy will open the cage lol.

we get the bowls for small animals at petco. the ones you screw to the side of a cage and the bowl screws in and out of the platform. put a stop to that right away lol. you can find them at every pet store, maybe run you 5 to 7 dollars.

edit: i didnt realize thats the same dish david posted lol, yes they work great!

Re: Secure water/pellet cup

Looking at the clamps, the bars where the feeding/watering doors are; are horizontal, so, I'm not certain if the clamps would work. We'll have to look at them to see.

You just rotate one! Been there, done that! It works!
